Small, quick steps where the foot rises to the ankle, then higher up the shin of the other leg. They teach the foot to come up under the body and land quickly.
Dose
3 × 20 m (ankle, mid-shin, knee height)
Rest
Walk back
How to do it
Walk or jog forward with short steps, lifting the heel so the foot passes over the other ankle.
On the next run, lift it to mid-shin height, then to knee height.
Each time, put the foot down under the hip, pushing the ground back.
