B-skip

An A-skip where the lower leg reaches out and then claws back to the ground. It teaches the pulling action of the hamstrings.

Dose
3 × 20 m
Rest
Walk back

How to do it

  1. Start with an A-skip rhythm.
  2. At the top of the knee drive, let the lower leg swing forward until the leg is nearly straight.
  3. Pull the foot back and down to land under the hip, then repeat on the other side.

Tips

  • The paw back is what matters, not how high the foot swings.
  • If your hamstrings are tired or tight, skip this drill today.
